Colorado Department of Wildlife — Outdoor Heritage Day

Riverbend Park in Palisade from 9am - 4pm

 

Sponsored by the Colorado Division of Wildlife, this event introduces kids and their families to all of the great opportunities the outdoors have to offer, and to provide them with the information they need to pursue those activities on their own.
There are a variety of outdoor activities that youth can participate in including fishing, archery, rock climbing, shooting, nature hikes, a hunting simulator, and much more.  Representatives from land management agencies and non-profit organizations will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.  First 600 kids to arrive receive free fishing poles. Lunch is provided, and best of all this event if completely free.

April Jazz 777 Club

Wine Country Inn in Palisade from 8am - 11am

 

Enjoy instrumental jazz for your listening and dancing pleasure.  Cost is $7.70 per person.  This is a 21 or older event.

The Grand Valley Winery Association offers you a chance to discover wines in the making by touring the wineries of its members.
